Parivritta Trikonasana (parivritta=revolved, tri=three, kona=angle)• EXHALE revolve around > turning the left foot in and the right parallel to the edge of the mat, pulling left heel back, bringing left hand to the floor on the outside of the right foot, right arm up, keep shoulders moving down-away from the ears. Push on floor with bottom hand while pulling up with the top hand. Lengthen both sides and pull lower ribs toward front. If it helps step the back foot up a bit. Keep the hips square, lengthening through the spine.

• LOOK at the thumb of the right hand.

• HOLD for 5-8 breaths.

• ON THE LAST EXHALE turn head to look down to the hand on the floor.

• INHALE come up slowly.• EXHALE revolve around to the other side > turning the right foot in and the left parallel to the edge of the mat. Pulling right heel back, bringing right hand to the floor on the outside of the left foot, left arm up, keep shoulders moving down-away from the ears. Push on floor with bottom hand while pulling up with the top hand. Lengthen both sides and pull lower ribs toward front. If it helps step the back foot up a bit. Keep the hips square, lengthening through the spine.

• LOOK at the thumb of the left hand.

• HOLD for 5-8 breaths.

• ON THE LAST EXHALE turn head to look down to the hand on the floor.

• INHALE come up.

• EXHALE to Samasthiti.

⚫️ Modification : bring both hands to the right shin, look up, spine straight.
